STAGE MANAGER

Cover Photo2.JPG

Hello

Hand Drawing

"So what do you do?"

**UPDATE: I have made the excruciating decision to no longer work in the arts as a Stage Manager. Theaters worldwide were hit hard during the Covid-19 pandemic starting in 2020. This gave me the time to reevaluate my needs/ necessities and move forward with this wonderful experience under my belt. This website now serves as a wonderful portfolio containing the shows and work I've accomplished. **

I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a BA in Theatre and Drama, emphasis in Stage Management. Stage managers typically run rehearsals, tech and performances of theatrical productions.

We are essentially event planners, executive assistants, secretaries, therapists, Disney Moms, baristas, puzzle masters and occasionally the clean-up crew.

Our key strengths are:

  • Great Communication: verbal/written communication, email management and writing reports.

  • Time Management: scheduling monthly/weekly/daily calendars and setting appointments.

  • High Attention To Detail: proofreading and data entry.

  • Excellent Organization: props management, wardrobe supervision and young performer supervisor.

  • Tech Saavy: Microsoft Office/Outlook/Google Suite/Zoom

    • quick ability to learn new software/databases: Salesforce/ ASANA/ OPERA/ Citrix-Reserve/

  • Ability to multi-task and complete tasks with accuracy.
